Jo Howard is an artist consumed by the colour and texture of oil paint.

Since her first encounter with the medium in third grade, she has been obsessed with the alchemy of oil and pigment.

She has always been intuitively connected to symbols, stories and mythology, making paintings from legend, myth, history and imagination. Delving into the past and scanning the future by obsessively meditating and drawing, her paintings evolve spontaneously.

Creating, from self introspection and connection to spiritual elements her work is an esoteric exploration of what it means to be human.
